may we all be heard
words are bells
let them ring!

arts of remembering

grand fathered time
ticks,tolls

bird seeking breakfast
becomes one

age changes options
each day a notch

flash of a cardinal
redeems laundry day

sleeping flowers
stand up when sun enters

bird happiness-
once we had wings!

fat paperback
spineless reader

kindle enthusiasm
for reading real books

this door left open
to let memories out

i look at the oil painting-
outside,original oil refineries

partitioning appointments
by apportioning time

OPPORTUNITY SHOP!
(watch.wait.witness)

aromas of bakery-
smells of cheese shop

cows do not eat
dairy products

kangaroos are vegetarians
eaten by tourists

the promise of silence
in your eyes

the way you giggle
changes earthquakes

making a garden
means less than being one

even sleeping
needs degrees

Titanic had a list
now look at it!

blaze of city lights
boasting consumption

small is not only beautiful-
it is who we are

entering country time-
slow.slower.slow .down

curtains for the blaze of light
and for the sleep of dreams

lawnmowers ,leafblowers
protesting silences

give me time
enough to remember more
