those flowers that you brought

they are on the red shoe memory altar dedicated to deb akers @book woman
susan post had a connection to/with deb unlike any other
cindy huyser loved via letters and kept connection
even to the suggestion that a reading of/for deb take place
on that louisiana bench deb wrote about in her poems
These ideas will happen-same as second thursdays continue at book woman
and borderlands readings are now APS  projects at twin oaks
and share your stories still continues at twin oaks with ralph hausser
and the childrens anthology at aipf still needs people
to fill her work requires more than a few
to volunteer for aipf and make good happen
Each reading dedicated to she who made so many work for us
(Expressions November 5 another remembrance)
To be alive is an act of love and free will
We remember Deb-your flowers ,red shoes,Borderlands,candles,poetry,smiles...

ascendant

walking this morning around the block
look UP!@Mother Muse Moon(still drunk!
she had attracted a large planet
that was beaming and flirting in relationship
between the gravity of the situation.
and the free form relationship of open spaces
Logically,i know we are all in relationship
that moon and stars are walking distances around my block
that i could just reach up and pluck
an apple moon from this morning tree
I called that bright planet DEB AKERS
knowing that is where she would want to be

O EPISTOLARIANS!
You who wrote to her
sent cards and letters to her
reminded her that she who loved so well and smilingly
was beloved privately.Well,she
had your cards and letters in  a box
in front of her sitting chair when she could not move
and she would read and re-read your love
and look at photographs and art you sent
and know you close as friends
On her shelf,to her left,so ponderous with books
copies of RED SHOES published by Elzy
She held these precious as your art
reminded her she was a part
of all your works and play
You gave her smiles on her way.
