It is a holiday-so water went on strike
fire flared up(the heat,the summer,holidays!
air got cloudy and smoky(but no rain
earth decided to evict us(again-
earthquakes,floods,famine all resurrected
They had WORK to do!Clearing us out and off this planet
was a fulltime job for all the elements
and there was to be no slacking off!
Sales were bait in huge stores-so customers gathered
Those not at the JAWS beaches
flocked to buy poverty bargains
as Mammon went belly up in this recession
Workers were revered as threatened species
Governments dissolved into casual gridlocked anarchy
No body could agree.They declared an amnesty
Now every day is a holiday for the unpaid
Even Nature volunteers to clear BP from our shorelines
resisting foreign domination/occupation
as always been a holiday past time!
