RE/PORT from the UNI/VERSE(friday post Thanksgiving@Fair Bean 5-7pm

Chris Martino started art with computer sounds around his text
John Monbelly beat a plastic bucket back into rhythmic life
Bradley Buedel weaved classically around drumbeats
Brian Roberts waxed lyrically about alternative scripts
Tom Friedley also alluded to Buddhist mysticisms
while Luis on his didgeridoo added rap breath percussive tracking
Southwestern Smoke harped Christmas tunes and melodies
while Tom Johnson sang original love songs /then FOLSOM BLUES in Spanish!
This cycle repeated until all were heard at least once
Then a stranger(Pablo)jumped up and sang ZORRO's theme
adding an element of OPEN to the reading
Amy's name was invoked,in trust of her return next Friday
and Fair Bean closed ,and poets moved on to La Tazza Fresca
This happens every Friday 5-7pm=open,living,free
and Fair Bean is the focus for congenial poetic /musical company
