Keep our Constitution with its Bill of Rights and 4th Amendment
Keep that frontier spirit even in this closed system
Keep ,maintain and extend freedom of speech and assembly
(it allows for growth in art,music,dance and poetry)
Keep those friendly links to all who espouse democracy
(a good idea still in its infancy).Add to all who give to others-volunteers
need support networks to make altruism real
Add to your jazz and movies,your cultural heritage
Respect indigenous land ,values and cultures
Seek alternatives to failed philosophies,
so we might apply ethics to our technologies
Remember why there is a National Guard-
for emergencies domestic-fires,earthquakes,flood
Look for what is good in all you share
so our borrowed name(America) might last more years
We are based upon respect,not fears
Gather reasons to smile.We need no more tears.
