i guess you began by loving what sustained you-
those huge creatures they call"parents"
you progressed to loving what came in to you(food,drinks
and what surrounded you(clothes,warmth
You were introduced to the love of siblings(brothers,sisters
They affirmed you in your growth and life
Friends and peers extended your love light
so you could see yourself in the reflection of others
You moved beyond biological foundations
into freeform affiliations-sports,hobbies,interests-
which you loved-pets,plants,people,products
a bicycle,a rabbit,a jacket,a place you visit
You may love rivers or beaches,mountains of forests
You may love fishing and walking and traveling arou8nd
Your loves are legion-they include all in this world
and all you remember from others-ghosts,grandparents,ancestors
Memories reinforce with a positive glow
all that you have loved once loves you back
Love is sustained by joyous affiliation-a freedom precious
You may collect stamps,or music,stories -take photos/play music
You might have a fave song /story/poem that speaks to the core of you
You hold some things(like people)close to you
Some stay with you for years-adding to you
(even parallel lines meet @forever)
Your loves are legion-they animate and extend you.
The only limit is when you cease to breathe(love)
This you cannot do.For you would cease,too
