all those civilians who died for liberty-
Tunisia,Algeria,Morocco,Egypt,Iran,Syria
and the bruising of emergent OCCUPYING democracy
i would rather list the living-
those whose Light still beams a welcome
to any traveler who walks these highways
needs support,and pilgrim love and affirmations
so leaning in to a New Year
i send my gratitudes to you who
make a New World birthing
within the ashes of the Olde
every act of kindness heals us
every welcome adds a harbor
every simple sharing frees us
into a community that loves
once more in to these cycles/seasons
our road still calling/while we are living-
LET US LIVE!
