swooped down into Homs
gathered up all unarmed civilians
women ,elders,children in her arms
and took them to safety
away from guns and drums ,bullets and bombs
why only one?Mercy is rare ,and precious as life itself
One angel is made of light
carry carry all your weighted sorrow

and the angel of compassion
flew into Gaza,gathered up unarmed civilians-
elders,women ,children-flew them to safety
away from planes and drones and targeted assassinations
why only one?angel overload!so much sorrow,so few angels
same for Yemen,Sudan,Somalia,Iran
