let them ring!

Kookaburra

Go where jacaranda and tiboschina alstonville shine in colors
like those lili-pili berries purple to the taste
Watch for paddy melons twilight/early morning
(beware the cane toads and snakes)
Semi-tropical fronds and ferns stand
near ghost gums by the creek.Weeds rise up
original cultures .made of earth beneath
Rain has filled the flowing clear
heritage liquidity.Rich and verdant this soil
Keep the trees!Parrots gossip twinned in air.
Clouds hide stars in widescreen skies
Temporary as time/water/life
Visit -but you cannot stay
Before and after you-green Light!
Blue skies.Even trees
become fire wood.Ash in fireplace
Visitors to Paradise.Go now/drive away...

(just to be among the silence
just to be that silence)
