That man taming tigers for a living-he loves them!
with a thin whip and a stick ,has them growling at him
(to increase the effect of danger-like putting your head
in a lion's mouth,or going into the wild among bears
He also trains horses to prance in circles
and to rise on their hind legs and paw the air
without fear they might stampede beyond his commands
The tigers are enclosed in a circular cage-it is easily dismantled
and they pounce away down a dark shute back into cages
Children love both animals and the allure of wildness
while munching popcorn and sipping sugar juices
they are safe (at a distance)with the crews singing
"don't try this at home".Soon they will go back to their cage
With no whips nor sticks to train obedience
They will seek to find a job for pay
Maybe one or two might run away to the circus-
as clowns or stagehands or maybe magicians
Training is required on both sides of the stage
Even tigers and horses know which side is paid
