Everything is metaphor-there is no physical cloud
just data banks offshored.Lines awaiting 4G
better than soup kitchens of the technologically dispossessed.
(some people will never see plasma TV nor IMAX!)
In Palestine,the young use computers as resistance
As the youth of Iran use Facebook and heavy metal music
When we use torture,we use the oldest methods-
water,masks,deprivation of resources
yet we update these violators of perimeters
via data banks,biometrics,plastic handcuffs
Technology is like money-neutral
Apps can be porn or police
We cannot stop these adventures in inventiveness
(we are adepts at GPS and spy surveillance)
yet space junk in our seas and deserts
radioactive uranium leaks(not Wikileaks)
and primitive cave revenge reactiveness
still characterize our primal selves
We are animal -we hunt and kill ourselves
Our governments kill their own people
We accept capital punishment and suicide
We use old technology like cars and rockets
when ever-renewable sources flow,blow and shine
Are we human yet?Can we be?
or do we blame technology for our demise
when it was we.....
