The script you write (or improvise-
these are real horses,carriages,people in audience
All are on stage all their lives-not just today,tonight
There is no intermission.You can change costumes and scripting
but familial patterns remain vestigial.Generations have trod
these boards of earth-recognize their mirror eyes
their bird migration patterns of behavior.We know
that change is constant and compounding-
that every show has an ending(and intervals
where nothing particularly happens
The exciting part is when your script is applied to action
Songs arise,unexpected events ,surprizes,adaptations
Communities are formed ,maintained,extended,relied upon
Villages of volunteers arise ,supporting expeditions
And here you are again-in this choosing moment-
ready to step on to the stage of a new day
learning your lines as you go along
trusting life will like your song...
