may we all be heard
words are bells
let them ring!

if you stop, you become an historical museum

frozen tableaux of significant moments
edited via memories imperfect/selective
according to the whimsy of emotional rearvisioning
impossible to replicate reflections/deflecting from this moment
shelter within as temporary as time tuned thoughts
which change according to the impossibility of truth
we being witnesses,judge,jury and executioners
Rashomon Effect meets The Usual Suspects
Selective data to support interpretations
Vantage point for self character assassination
What we send out to this world returns
flavored via the route it took /the road that burns
the flaming tree/the stone meadow/dry riverbed
fiery towns/flooded villages/loss of reminiscences
when recollection is a toll /a tax upon the living
and only stories can be told about those gone
by each of us with new lessons to write, project, listen and learn...

AND GEORGE SAID
"when things in my business go horribly wrong
i would like your life-to sit under a tree
and read a book".I replied-"The book you must write
The tree must die for every page you lie.
The only ones who lay under trees these days are underground..."

DALLAS
Hideout.last of night.he has no words of his own
steps up to the open mike.lets loose a torrent of song
so strong we all felt weak.He could not speak
yet his pain became a bandage for the wounded
For all of us conflicted by the idea of Dallas in Austin.

2 STONEHENGES
Always shadows follow Light-to copy and to mutilate
75% as high as the original-reminiscent of SPINAL TAP
Now the Texas Hill Country copies Easter Island heads
and calls PAGAN all they dare not understand.

IF YOU WAIT,and watch,absorb ,respond
You will become more of what you emulate
Like firewood ,burn.Like trees,lumber.Like love,more...
