A MOVING EXPERIENCE

Your life is a loaf of bread-
each night a slice to digest
She is a storyteller/did not think she would end up in poetry
But she was walking past the HIDEOUT window
Her Monday night needed some pizzazz-so she
dropped in /ended up a loaf of bread on stage
"I have perhaps 12 slices left in me"she said-
birth(birthdays),youth,first blood,first love,marriage,divorce
first room,first apartment,first house,second house.."
so what she will do is this.
First divest her past via garage sales and clothing swaps
Next ask her theatrical friends for a specific day and time
She will then box up her winged art(she has 80 wings-all colors
and ,on the actual day,go out and get her hair cut
Her friends will be at her new address-
they will make her new home in their image
They are her actors. They write the script
What turns up will be what turns out of them
This will be titled"A MOVING EXPERIENCE"
and is an act of trust and love of theater, friends, and life itself
"If i continue this gypsy lifestyle,i may need to divest my piano
After all, when you are dead, you can't take any of this with you...
I think i have at least 11 slices of ritual theater left in me.."
Then she left the reading,smiling,happy...
