DRIVE BY PRAYER

There is a man stands by the road in Waco
offering to pray with anyone who stops
Few do-but those who do
slow down,and think about it.
He is tired of walls and churches
says people are the point of prayer
and if he can add one glad moment
he will justify his being there.

or to the Congo where blood diamonds grow
We may never have military deliver midnight packages
to our room after dinner,in the hope
that exposure to positive publicity
might secure some kind of release..
