words are bells
let them ring!

CONNYCATCHERS&COZENERS

Elizabethan and Jacobean England was a hotbed of brothels and dramas
Folk were aware of the politics of the day/London was awash
with plots and criminalities/nothing has changed much(except cameras) to this day.
Plays were performed often collaboratively written
Folios produced often differed from scripts
Actors were gifted @improvisation
They might earn simple fame and acclaim via this.
Little is known of Marlowe and Jonson
except their short and shortened lives
Media did not inspire such curiosities
as are the hallmark of our London Times.
Much we do not know/more is conjecture
Plays that survive have divergent scripts
Poems with codes for patrons and lovers
were never meant to be published
I go to the cinema to be stimulated
I like the idea of ANONYMOUS
The question  not-who wrote these?
It is -how much of these scripts have we lost?
