words are bells
let them ring!

GEORGE &ME

You see,we never met-but i grew up with him
In black &white,A HARD DAY'S NIGHT
His Liverpool accent was the gear
in the 60's of our growing years

He was always the spiritual one
Talented guitarist/everyone
admired his licks on electric guitar
and skills on acoustic-star he was

while others claimed the bright front lights
he played the lead and gave those magic riffs
even now being re-discovered/without George
Would we know sitar or Ravi Shankar?

Martin Scorsese shared a visual biography
It was the music that claimed we
who listened and watched from afar
While he was stabbed and died of cancer

Sex and drugs and rock and roll
A life that sometimes went out of control
Gardens that gave him peace of mind
He financed Hand Made Movies(Monty Python)

His songs we sing remembering
It was hard to be George Harrison
