if wings are spirits-i remember generic-
sparrow,stumble footed pigeon,black Nazi stormtrooper grackle
eagle is an image on black and white RKO and currencies
hawk as rare as democracy.Turkey vultures feed on stock
markets,and tend to collect together.Drab and uniform,
collective species resist individuality.
Perhaps some darting,dancing sparrow might entertain lunch breaks
but she is simply working for a living panhandling
and her dance is timed for food and ceases with food rations.
I know there were huge birds once-forms of dinosaurs now only bones
They rules skies like drones and B1 bombers
But myth makes a poor breakfast,and i am a civilian
all the birds i know of now are military applications
and they bomb and kill on contact.Is it better not to know their names-
PREDATOR? RAPTOR? TERMINATOR?
