In Cleveland,we were invited by the Indian community
in to their homes for nourishment and support
They treasured poetry and music-and valued ours
as much as we were intrigued by their sitars and tablas
Family was important to them-and we were introduced to all
with great respect and NAMASTE bowing of heads
The music flowed from these kindnesses and such gentleness
engendered response from hidden recesses in our arts
Dr Hari Joshi ,bi-lingual author/poet from Bhopal
came and read @Ventana Del Sol one Sunday night
His family supportive and encouraging/he keeps in email contact
and continues to be published in Hindi and English
Worlds outside/worlds within/locked in languages
Smiles bridge a "foreign"language in to an opening friend
