the books are leaving

they are filing out the door.i am giving them away
they say"no body reads any more"
i have tried to reason with them-read as many as i can
but they are hard covered/adamant
they want to be in circulation
so i give them away at venues
trust that others will see their virtues
but they read their poems on iphones
and poetry is text to them
So i resort to reading
and then giving them away
