let them ring!

SEASON FOR/GIVING

Borders(using coupons for Christmas gifting
They offer free packaging
The table staffed by two volunteers
They are here to assist animals needing rescue
They have wit ,goodwill and pleasant demeanours
We laugh and jibe and banter with them
until my beloved notices bracelets upon one arm
Admiring them, she is immediately offered one
(just like that Japanese custom -where what you admire is given-
She wears it puzzled and smiling, knowing
every person needs rescuing
as well as too many animals...

RE/TIRED
Driver points to our flat tire/we pump it up
but next morning it is flat again/i buy FIX A FLAT
drive it to TIRE MAN on Manchaca. They patch
charge $10 for cleaning the chemicals
and $10 for repairing the tire.Smiling, drive away
to find tire flat the every next day.Return after tow
to find the tire has been perished by chemicals,so
a new one is needed. They deduct the repair costs
We drive safely now,in the hands of goodwill
This is the season for kindness.

EXCHANGE OF ENERGIES
We make,create songs,goodwill,poems
to send out in this season/when cheer
peace,happiness and co-operation
define life outside gridlocked shopping Malls
Parties flare with all night sharings
Drink December till January begins ,and
we can (with human errors)always start again...
