may we all be heard
words are bells
let them ring!

FOOL MOON MOAN

full moon outside my window
now she enters!
burglar of dreams!

it is early morning
yet the night is old

before noise,she slips
Cinderella stories to pumpkins

blame tidal madness on her seasons
white and blameless prisoner she

there are no sounds in space
unless we make them

autumn-before anorexic winter
these trees demonstrate green!

i do not remember any moons
before this one now

made our moon a goddess
so we could land

mining the moon?
its just a question of depth
and distance

calendars count moons
i celebrate this one!

for three days-
as happy as jesus

why
do you take up the sky?
(in my mind)

look OUT!Look UP!
we all see one

memories of moons
flavor this white knight

there is a poet on the moon tonight
can you hear her?

when moon goes
you may as well
throw away the night

soon silence
will crack
dawn's egg

color of night
absence.

do not leave me moon!
(i know you must leave soon-
or is it i who desert you?

i talk to you
as if you were human
(you prefer to listen.

projecting upon you ,moon
what else can we do?

first car
steals the dark-
two white moons
