MONETURNER

Give Turner bold bright oranges and red of fires-
slave ships,seascapes and Hannibal snowstorms
swirling conflicts of olde and new worlds
where trains and ships and battles contrast
with tranquil towns,rivers,castles
Give Turner brown earth emotions
tempered with smoke and fog and mist
Give both watercolors-make Monet blue
Waterlilies are his,ponds and bridges
Both portray Houses of Parliament
Both paint Venice and London
Both imprint impressions more than descriptions
Degas Monet.Titian Turner.
Give Monet Giverny-gardens,paths,flowers
Sea roses instead of sea battles
Peace of weeping willows
(filter through emotions)
Water belongs to both-Turner seas to Monet ponds
Turner rarely used blue-Monet was blue.
he was also skydreamcloud waters,
at the mouth of a river, listening
Paint what you see-both dreams
take us deeper into Psyche than we
are comfortable with/moving meditations-
sunsets and rises,towns,villages
occasionally a stray human(Girl with a Parasol)
or mythical Greek hero turning in turmoil
Choose your emotion-gardens await
Palettes and spectra take us further and deeper-
