Hungry homeless on our streets
Some suggest they might eat the rich-but they are thin and bony folk
like carp and other bottom feeders
Slicing them thin might mean some protein sandwiches
but those who have no shelter might not like their mansions!
Envy alone will not fuel change-prosperity tops austerity(again!
and there is enough for all of us to have some
without having to confiscate all private planes and yachts
It would be good to have some public parks-and libraries
that do not have to close,and schools where children can read books
and pools where heated arguments can cool down.Before the Revolution comes,
why can't we all just get along?
