Tea Party pressure groups know this well-their candidate must answer to them
Same with million dollar supporters of Presidential candidates
You are buying the figurehead-but you are sold the program
Obama gives great speeches but is not seen on the streets
even as 800 are arrested for practicing democracy
Bankers are not arrested-even as their culpability is proven
Congress is gridlocked with Budgets frozen
Austerity for some does not diminish CEO take home pay
and how many unemployed before the suburbs are in flames?
Media passivity replaced activism long before-
wars distract us from all the wars that have failed before
Now it little matters who pretends to play President
The agenda has been already programmed /fixed and set
All that is needed is a right wing figure head
(preferably not Catholic like Kennedy or Mormon this year)
We need a placebo to sedate our fears
Few vote,and even fewer care
Apathy alone determines who will control us next year
All the monies in the world only buy you in
Those with the real power are behind the scenes
They have already made their selection.
Now all that remains-is for us to fall in...
