let them ring!

Re: only the poets make revolutions lovely

To Randy Lusk

sing to me the truth of human weakness
how ideology 's sails fill with emptiness
how promises are broken more than treaties
how doctrines always disappoint

all those books upon your self had an author
someone who walked away from versions
of the bible or the manifesto/just to write
antidotes to groupthinking jackboot grackles

easy to react as a first step/that premise relies
upon an audience willing to listen and to compromise
Far better with no one other than your solitary selves
to judge and jury every borrowed syllable
to make a newer meaning -deeper,sharper,fine

then to release it ,as a kite needs gusts
to lift above the crowds. All text provisional
Worlds await new revelatory epistles
to hear the sounds of changes just beyond horizons..
