may we all be heard
words are bells
let them ring!

ANGER,FEAR,PUNISHMENT

Sit by the fires of fear long enough(you will get angry
React to the injustice of this world(it will inflame
Oil wars and water drought(the heart is hungry
Need for love more than the love that gives out

Dogs will feed upon the flesh of victims
Willpower alone may not change inequalities
Small are the gardens in a desert needing oases
We started original(all seems second hand

Why these limited expectations? These dried tongues?
How comes these flash floods ?firestorms?
Our own bodies invaded by the fear of anger
Curled up in anger at ourselves

Let go! Release! The weight of gravities
too much to drag through time and space
is limited to the joy we bring
to add to all that enlivens all of us

Fire still warms and fear still flickers
Within the context of a chosen choice
A repertoire of emotional responses
finds us selecting songs for voice

aligns us with harmonic balance
Choice allows us all to live
There may be fear and anger burning
What is important is the love we give
